I went to a concert second night and it be loud (of course), and I didn't have earplugs. After in the order of a half hour, my audible range in both ears become muffled significantly, and lasted throughout. I figure it would come back after a few hours, but I go home and went to sleep and still, the audible range in my right ear is still muffled, and it is still ringing. My departed ear has come pay for though.
I know it's hard to share, but how long should this last lacking it becoming a problem? How long does it usually last? When is it time to travel see a doctor? How long should I expect audible range loss from a concert?
Loud music like any loud sounds, which exceeds 95dB HL can result in temporary audible range loss. when exposed to very loud level , like 110dB and above, one get what is called makeshift threshold shift, TTS. which becomes majority if given rest, by 24hrs to 48 hrs, If ur hearing remains artificial after this period it is a right idea to see an audiologist and attain a diagnostic tests done, because depending on other factor, more permanent audible range changes can also turn out..
Oh, it's normal. It happen to me everytime I go to a concert. Probably by tonight or tomorrow everything will be final to normal. :)
WHAT? HUH? SPEAK UP! i WENT TO THAT CONCERT TOO1
