I stopped taking spironolactone because I was have some side effects. How long does it take to take it out of my system?How long does medication stay contained by your body?
From the site below it takes 24 hrs to leave your job the system. If it is addictive then the body will 'crave' it for longer as it is used to have it to function.
I hope if you stopped taking it you have consulted a doc first & replaced it beside other suitable medication. Addiction is scarey, but you have to weigh the risk of addiction against the risk of not taking the drug & have your health deteriorate (or die!)
